It’s the weekend, and I thought you all might like to play a grown-up version of “Hidden Pictures” from HIGHLIGHTS Magazine. Instead of a sketch drawing, I’m going to show you a document that was forwarded to me in mid-November.

As you read through, see if you can pick out all the things hiding in plain sight.

Some facts to keep in mind as you search:

1. Attorney Blake Mensing represented current Select Board Member Matthew Nordhaus’s wife during her HCA negotiations with the Town of Littleton. Mensing is listed as counsel to the company in Nordhaus’s wife’s HCA, dated May 4, 2020. On that date, Matthew Nordhaus was only a candidate for Select Board.
2. Matthew Nordhaus has been a member (Chair, May 2022-May 2023) of the Select Board since June 2020.
3. Mensing formed MRM INDUSTRIES LLC (MRM) on November 10, 2021, just days after Nordhaus’s wife called off a handshake $800,000.00 sale, claiming she “got a better deal.”
4. Mensing represented MRM during the MRM’s HCA negotiations with the Town of Littleton. Mensing is listed as “Counsel for Company” in MRM’s July 2022 HCA, which is signed by Manager Masood Shaikh.
5. In March 2023, MRM amended its HCA with the Town of Littleton, backdating its HCA to May 4, 2020, which coincides with the date Nordhaus’s wife signed her HCA with the Town of Littleton.
6. Miten—one of the M’s in MRM—told me that Nordhaus’s wife sold her select-board-granted license for $2,000,000.00.
