Someone I have never met wrote this to me in a FB thread:
Anyone who was in town when you were leading our town as a member of the Select Board knows what you’re capable of. You lied to us then and you lie now. You’re “stunned” someone you’ve never spoken to doesn’t trust you? It’s the reason many people in town were so against going into business with you and Christine in the first place and it’s most likely the main reason Christine dropped you as a business partner. Under no circumstance should the town go into business with you – even under the guise of “ending poverty”. We know what you’re capable of.
What I’m capable of?
You know what I’m capable of, Mike?
Making up my own mind about people, using my own judgment and my own critical thinking skills to decide how I will regard other people.
For years, I’ve heard people call you a bully, a blowhard, a douchebag, and a bootlicker.
Maybe you are these things, Mike; maybe you’re not.
It would be impossible for me to say because I’ve never met you.
Maybe those descriptors came from people who don’t like you for some reason or another, and maybe it’s possible that everything I’ve heard about you is wrong.
As a self-actualized adult, I don’t have to be of the same mind of the people I surround myself with. Neither do you.
I have nothing to hide, Mike.
Ask me anything,
Jenna
