You’re going to be reading that quite a bit going forward: “Someone told me.”
While it’s nice to have something “in writing” to refer to—say, a link to click on to read Littleton Apothecary’s HCA’s Paragraph 14 “Covenant Not to Sue” and Paragraph 12 “Successors and Assigns” or MRM’s backdated HCA—there is some critical information that has come to my attention during in-person conversations.
During these conversations, I do not take notes.
It makes people uncomfortable.
When talking to people who have first-hand observations of the ethically questionable administration of cannabis licenses in Littleton, I listen and ask questions.
Recently, I spent two and a half hours in conversation with “someone.” A few weeks ago, “someone” and I met and talked for nearly four hours. Last month, “someone” sent me a document. Last week, “someone” called. Today, “someone” sent me a text.
Today is Day 55. If you’re reading these words—if you’ve been reading along—you might be “someone.”
If you are, then maybe you’re “someone” I should meet,
