Not Registered to Vote, Littleton?

Last month, in an effort to spread the news on how Littleton could END LOCAL POVERTY by changing local policy, I went to the “40B” apartments at Village Green (on the Acton line) to ask for signatures from strangers.

The majority of the people who signed my nomination papers live here:

The drone’s-eye view of two of the three 4-story-high apartment buildings makes Village Green appear almost “lakeside.” (It’s not.)

As I went door to door on that rainy Saturday morning in late March, I was frequently met by residents who said, “I’m not registered to vote.”

All I could say at the time was, “Oh, alright. Thanks.”

Today, I have a better answer:

If you count yourself among those who are not “registered to vote” or know others who aren’t, there’s still time.

I found this on our town’s website:

You’ve got today and tomorrow to register and/or spread the word.

There’s still time, Littleton,

Jenna
