If you’d asked me yesterday what my plans were for today, I would’ve told you that I’d be spending it like just about every other day: read, drink coffee, write, eat fruit, walk in the woods with my dog, cook dinner for my family, maybe take a sauna, finish the movie Rob and I started, brush, floss, water-pik, read some more, sleep, repeat.
But I’m here:

My flight leaves soon.
I’ll fly to Denver, switch planes, and arrive in Billings, Montana at 9:04 local time.
I bought a one-way ticket.
I’m going to Montana to stop my friend from making a terrible mistake, and because the United Airlines employee with the impressive handlebar mustache is calling my boarding group, I don’t have time to explain.
In the 89 minutes I have in Devner, maybe I’ll have time.
For now, got to go,
Jenna
