A month from now, I will no longer call myself a resident of my hometown of Littleton, Massachusetts, where I’ve lived practically my entire life in the house my parents built with their own hands.
There are many factors contributing to this late midlife uprooting, though the primary one is lack of community, and it will be community that each of us will need to rely upon in order to face what I believe to be a daunting future.
As I’ll be focusing my attentions on building community elsewhere, I’ll no longer pay any attention to happenings in 01460.
To the thousands of readers who’ve read what I’ve written over the years about Littleton, I thank you for taking your time to do so.
As there won’t be any more posts by yours truly that concern the governance, corruption, cronyism, abuse of power, cover-ups, and general decline of my hometown, I decided to share with all of you my top ten posts.
