Of all the people I spent time with in town, Jim Karr was by far my least favorite to be around.
From the start, Karr and others made it clear that I was not welcome at the Big Kids’ Table, but what made Karr’s treatment of me—and other women—especially yucky was his obvious misogyny and general lack of interest in considering the viewpoints of others.
Karr is a simpleton, clearly evidenced by his myopic criticism of my political efforts to bring attention to the 6.3% of Littletonians living under the poverty line when I ran for a seat on the Select Board in 2024 with several policy proposals that, I believe, would’ve helped to lift impoverished Littletonians above that line.
On August 7, 2024, I published “Is this Weird, Littleton?” and texted the link to Karr. He replied a few weeks later, commanding that I never contact him again.
In reply, I sent Karr this text:

I’ll be sending him a link to this post as well, which I’m sure he’ll be reading.

Here’s a photo of Karr and former Chief of Police Matthew King, aka, the guy who paid $25,000 to his rape victim to get her to not move forward on the criminal case against him in 1997.

For what it’s worth, I think Karr and others in positions of power knew of the allegation of digital rape and the payoff long before I ever brought it to their attention in 2014.
