My Debate Prep, Chuck

Hey there, Chuck,

On April 24th, Littleton’s Rotary Club will be hosting its annual Candidates’ Night, to which both you and I have been warmly invited.

I’ve already RSVP’ed “yes” and have confirmed that our debate is scheduled for last.

Since it’s my youngest child’s last childhood birthday and because we’re a “celebrate day-of” sort of family, I might not be there right at 7:00 when the debates begin.

Do not despair, Chuck, I’ll be there.

It’ll be a great opportunity for me to share my ideas on how Littleton can END LOCAL POVERTY. Some of those ideas came from these books:

This book arrives tomorrow:

And on Thursday, this one will show up, magically, right outside my front door:

So, to make sure the playing field is fair, I wanted you to know what I’ll be bringing—idea-wise—to the debate table.

If you have some foundational reading that you think I should do before we meet, let me know. It should be no problem for me to get to that.

Otherwise, see you on the 24th.

I’ll probably bring leftover birthday cake, so save room,

Jenna
